BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (CNN) – There was a scare at the Attorney General Luther Strange’s office in Alabama’s capital Wednesday. A letter containing a suspicious white substance was delivered to the Montgomery building.

Local news media report six people were exposed to the substance. The office was evacuated and placed under quarantine.

Local media report initial tests show the substance was not harmful. Officials are testing it again to be sure and results are expected to be back by the end of the day.

Until then, the building is expected to stay closed.
