HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Two people are receiving treatment at Huntsville Hospital after being seriously injured in a late-night shooting at Twickenham Village according to Huntsville Police.

Authorities arrested Lamontez Dearius James in connection to the incident. James was charged with robbery.

Police responded around 11:30 p.m. Sunday to the Twickenham Village apartment complex on Galaxy Way.

Officers arrived to find a man in front of building 900 suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics took him to Huntsville Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Around the same time, authorities said a second gunshot victim arrived at Huntsville Hospital.

Huntsville police said the investigation is ongoing and more charges could be coming.
