HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Pizzelle's Confections did something extra sweet for the late Gene Wilder.  "Violet, You're Turning Violet, Violet" is a candy dedicated to Mr. Willy Wonka himself.  It is a violet, white chocolate ganache with a hint of lime and a lavender marshmallow molded in dark chocolate.

Half of the sales on this violet treat will be donated to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.  This was Pizzelle's way of giving back to a supportive community and a man who influenced them all.

"If the community didn't support us we wouldn't be here at all." says Caitlin Lyon, the co-owner of Pizzelle's Confections. "So, whenever we have a chance to do something that enables us to have fun and give back at the same time, we try to take it. And especially for somebody who is as important to us as Gene Wilder in his role as Willy Wonka. We wanted to make sure we did something special for it,"

Proceeds will be collected until this Saturday.
