Physical Education Teacher Arrested, Facing Alcohol & Drug Charges

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – WHNT News 19 has learned an employee of Huntsville City Schools was arrested early Saturday morning.
Huntsville Police charged Lewis Gregory with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
Huntsville Police notified Huntsville City Schools on Saturday, and Dr. Wardynski instructed that Gregory be placed on administrative leave first thing on Monday.
Huntsville City Schools Spokesman Keith Ward told WHNT News 19 Gregory is a Physical Education Teacher for Ed White Middle School.
Ward says, “Lewis Gregory will be placed on administrative leave first thing Monday morning.”
Gregory is out of jail on bond.
