After a year of hard work a community gathered on the tornado one year anniversary in Monrovia to dedicate Gilwood Park to the 13 victims who were killed April 27, 2011.

The park was built on a piece of land that was leveled by the storm. It includes benches, swings and flower gardens, each one dedicated to a victim.

The park is open to the public, and you can visit it at 134 Highland Lane in Madison. All of the supplies for the park were donated by local businesses.
