HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - A group of parents have thanked the bus drivers who they say kept their children safe during a crash.

WHNT News 19 first reported the story back in March, when a group of students from Huntsville Middle School were involved in a wreck on the way back from New York. The students were returning from a chior trip.

A car reportedly crossed a median near Knoxville, causing an 18-wheeler in front of the kids' bus to wreck. The bus driver reportedly did his best to avoid the accident but scraped the side of the truck. All of the students and passengers were fine.

Parents of those involved have now thanked that bus driver and the others. The group had a photo from their trip enlarged and all of the students signed the image.

David Little and his daughter were both on the trip and presented the picture to the bus company - Anchor Tours - along with a small financial gift to each of the drivers who transported the students in March.
