Officials reopen all SB lanes of I-65 after 18-wheeler overturns

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — Officials with the Alabama Department of Transportation confirm all southbound lanes of I-65 have been reopened.

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — Drivers headed southbound on I-65 near the 565 interchange should expect delays due to an overturned 18 wheeler that was hauling milk.

Crews say the outside shoulder is now open and is being used for traffic.

Officials with the Alabama Department of Transportation expect the roadway to be fully reopened by 9 a.m.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes until then.
