AUBURN, Ala. (WHNT) – A shooting occurred early Saturday morning in Auburn that has killed three people and injured another. One person is now charged with capital murder.
According to Assistant Chief Will Mathews of the Auburn Police Department, officers received a call about a shooting around 2 a.m. at Mr. D’s Lodge on Lee Road 83. When officers arrived they say gunfire was still being exchanged by multiple subjects.
According to CBS affiliate WRBL-TV, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested 33-year-old Tarabien Cobb Saturday afternoon at a home in Auburn.
Recco Cobb, 43, Jadarrion Spinks, 25, both from Auburn, as well as Roderick Nelms, 32 from Waverly, were killed in the shooting. A fourth victim was taken to the hospital with non-threatening injuries before officers arrived. He is 23 years old.
