SHOALS, Ala. (WHNT) – Both the Muscle Shoals and Phil Campbell campuses of Northwest Shoals Community Colleges were evacuated after a threat was made.
The school announced both campuses had been given the all-clear around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. An evacuation order was sent out around 1 p.m. due to an unverified threat.
NW-SCC said the campuses would remain closed through the rest of Wednesday and will resume normal operations on Thursday.
As of 1 p.m., Wednesday over 10 college campuses received threats and evacuated buildings.
