HENAGAR, Ala. (WHNT) — Four more drive-ins are getting a chance to win a new digital projector through Honda’s Project Drive-In.
The fifth and final winner should have been announced on Sunday, but now voting is extended to September twenty-first. The four drive-ins with the highest number of votes will win new projectors.
The Henagar Drive-In in DeKalb County is one of the several drive-ins across the nation to be selected for the contest. It was also one of a few in the south.
They haven’t won yet, and the drive-in’s owners are asking for all the votes they can get.
The industry is moving from film to digital in the next few months, so each theater needs to get a new projector. Those could run up in the thousands.
You can text Vote46 to 444999 or go to the contest website to cast your vote.
