Police had been looking for the person responsible for smashing through a Guntersville store wall and stealing merchandise since the event on Monday.

Surveillance cameras at Command Tactical on Highway 431 in Guntersville caught a man backing into the front of the store with his vehicle, then entering through the smashed wall.

The owner says they are still in the process of doing inventory to determine what was taken, but they are missing lots of supplies and a few guns.

Prior to the smash-and-grab at Command Tactical, the manager at Weathers Rental Center in Albertville said thieves stole a truck from him, taking down a fence, to break it out of the lot.

The manager shared the video with WHNT News 19 in hopes someone recognizes the man he believes is the Guntersville burglar.

Police found the stolen truck blocks away from the gun shop.  It has some light damage to the outside and a GPS and other things stolen from the inside.

Guntersville Police have this footage and are investigating further.  If you have any information on this crime, contact the Guntersville Police Department at (256) 571-7571.
