SCOTTSBORO, Ala. - Meet brothers Lynne, Glynne and Wynne.  Triplets to be exact. All three are veterans honored today by Peace By Piece Quilter's Guild.

"Whats special about today is that Peace By Piece Quilter's Guild has honored all these Veterans, and we were just fortunate enough to be selected as well," says Glynne Hamrick.

Service was very familiar to the Hamrick brothers.

"We decided to go into the military individually, but our father was an Air Force officer and a pilot."

They each decided to enlist after college during the time of the Vietnam War.  Combined the triplets gave over 75 years of service to the United States.

"Two of us picked Air Force and one Army.  Service has been good to us as well. Even though we had our individual hardships, it's been good to us and we appreciate more and more everyday... looking around and seeing other new veterans," says Wynne Hamrick.

The brothers were stationed all over the US and even the world, but the separation never broke their bond.

"At the time with separate paths was right after college, going into the military. You went your own way. It was not whether we chose it or not. It was just a thing that was going to happen."

Wynne Hamrick now resides in Stephenson, while Lynne and Glynne live in Tennessee.  Three veteran brothers with three separate journey, all apart of one team.
