ROSALIE, Ala. – The Rosalie Rescue Squad wants to get the community organized for a Saturday full of storm cleanup. Storm victims and volunteers are invited to attend.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Rosalie Community Center. Organizers plan to use the meeting to plan a workday for Saturday morning.

Rosalie Rescue asks those with storm damage who need help to call or stop by the squad building ahead of the meeting so they know to schedule volunteers to help. Their phone number is 256-451-1026.

The post on Facebook  says, “We have a large number of volunteers and also some heavy equipment and logging companies that will be coming to help Saturday so please contact the Rosalie Rescue Squad with your needs.”

The Rosalie Rescue Squad is located across the road from where the plaza was destroyed on Highway 71.

If you can’t volunteer but can help monetarily, please donate to the rescue squad through this PayPal account.

Three people, Justin Wright, April Wright and Jessica Fleming, died in the tornado that moved through Rosalie.
