UPDATE: State troopers identify victim of overnight wreck

JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. – State troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency have identified the name of a man killed in an overnight wreck. They say Bobby Joe Moody, 51, of Scottsboro died at the scene of the wreck.

The wreck happened on Highway 79 less than a mile south of Skyline around 10:30 Thursday night.

Investigators say Moody was killed when the 1982 Dodge pickup he was driving was struck by a 2007 Saab. State troopers report Moody was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the car was not injured.
