GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. -- Guntersville's second wine festival will be held in just a few months on the shore of Lake Guntersville.

Announced this week, Vino on the Lake is scheduled for June. "June the fourth, from five to nine p.m. VIPs will be able to access one hour early," event organizer Sally Cobb says.

The event will boast dozens of wines. "From across the world," Cobb says, "There will be over 100 wines to taste, local artisans, local restaurants, just tons of entertainment. It's going to be a really fun event."

The festival will be held at Guntersville's City Harbor and will also boast local award-winning chefs and entertainment.

This is the second wine festival Guntersville has had. Last year's festival was put on in June at the same location.

This year's event is organized local to Guntersville. "A portion of ticket sales will actually go to benefit Every Child's Playground here in Guntersville," Cobb explains.

VIP tickets are $105. That includes one hour early entrance, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and other exclusive opportunities. General Admission tickets are $75.

Tickets can be purchased online at
