Missing campers found safe in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. – Several organizations spent the morning searching for three men reported missing in Jackson County. Search crews had been looking for the trio since 10 p.m. Monday.

The Jackson County Rescue Squad, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Rosalie Rescue, and Ider Rescue were all involved in the search near the area of County Road 131 and County Road 71.

The men, aged 20-23 years old, have been located. We have been told they were camping in the area and are safe.
