SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WHNT) – Police are asking for the public’s help to find a Scottsboro woman wanted for various charges including theft, fraud and forgery.

The woman is Kristy Bibbs, 40.  Police say they have information she could be staying somewhere in Huntsville.

Scottsboro Police have warrants on her for forgery, fraudulent use of a credit card and theft.  The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has similar warrants for Bibbs, too.

Police say Bibbs stole checks and used them.  They say she was apparently still passing stolen checks in Huntsville as recently as the week of Thanksgiving.

If you have any information about where Kristy Bibbs is, please call Lt. Scott Matthews of the Scottsboro Police Department at (256) 574-4468, ext. 337.
