Update: Troopers ID Woman Killed in Wreck on I-59 Near Collinsville

COLLINSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A Leeds woman died in a wreck early Monday, January 20, on Interstate 59 in DeKalb County.

Alabama State Troopers say Jessica Teat, 27, died from injuries she sustained when the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and hit a concrete drain.

The crash happened about 12:15 a.m. at the 214 mile marker, four miles south of Fort Payne.

Troopers say they continue their investigation.
