Authorities confirm 16-year-old killed in Marshall County wreck

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. – Alabama State Troopers confirm a 16-year-old from Guntersville died when his vehicle left the road and struck a bridge causing it to overturn in a creek off Horton Road Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said first responders to the scene around 2:30 p.m. found the vehicle and the teen dead when they got on the scene. Douglas police, Albertville Fire and Rescue and Alabama State Troopers all responded.

State troopers are investigating the wreck.
