Sheriff: One dead in Jackson County after Thanksgiving ‘love triangle’ shooting

STEVENSON, Ala. (WHNT) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deadly Thanksgiving shooting.

Investigators tell us Christopher Paul Timberlake of Hollywood was shot and killed around 8:00 Thursday night on Milltown Circle, near downtown Stevenson.

Sheriff Chuck Phillips said David Hutchins went to the Stevenson Police Department and reported he shot a man at his home after the incident.

Hutchins was charged with murder early Friday morning.

Sheriff Phillips told WHNT News 19 the shooting was over a love triangle.
