JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. – A Woodville woman was killed and two others were critically injured in a Jackson County crash Monday afternoon.
State troopers said Anna Louise Martin, 62, was killed when a Dodge Charger crossed the yellow line and hit her Ford Focus on AL-35 near US-72 at 3:40 p.m.
The driver of the Charger and a passenger were airlifted to a nearby hospital.
Martin was pronounced dead at the scene. ALEA troopers issued a correction and confirmed that Martin was, in fact, wearing a seatbelt.
