Danny Michael Mardis, 67, was going too fast on his three-wheeled 2004 Honda Goldwing motorcycle and didn’t make a curve on Ruth Road, State Troopers told us. Mardis was thrown from his motorcycle.

The site was about five miles west of Arab.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Troopers continue their investigation.

Visitation for Mardis will be on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Arab. The funeral is Saturday at 2 p.m. at the church.
