Marshall County Sheriff’s Office looking for man who assaulted a deputy

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. – Deputies in Marshall County are searching for a man accused of assaulting a deputy on Sunday.

The deputy responded to a call in the Swearengin community when he made contact with 41-year-old Michael Paul Sisk. Investigators say the deputy discovered Sisk had narcotics in his possession.

A spokesman for the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says Sisk resisted arrest and broke the deputy’s hand before running away. The deputy was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Deputies searched the area for more than two hours.

Sisk is around 5’08” and weighs 180 pounds.  He has brown hair and brown eyes.
