GERALDINE, Ala. – A man was killed in Geraldine Wednesday when a tree fell and hit him.

Geraldine officials say Lamar Carr, 60, was cutting wood when the tree fell and hit him. He was taken to Marshall Medical South, where he was pronounced dead.
