Log Truck Overturns on Hwy. 431 Near Guntersville Fire Station; Road Blocked

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A log truck has overturned in front of the Guntersville Fire Station.

Both lanes of Highway 431 N are shut down while crews work to clean up the scene.

Traffic is being rerouted down a side street parallel to 431 for a few blocks.

This happened just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The log truck tipped over and logs spilled onto the Guntersville Fire Station front yard. No other cars were involved and no injuries were reported.

If you’re headed this way – please avoid the area if possible.

Traffic is expected to be rerouted for at least three hours while the scene is cleared.
