GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Guntersville is hosting “A Night Before Christmas’ on Friday, Dec 13.
“A Night Before Christmas” is Guntersville’s day-long event designed to promote local shops.
There will be free horse drawn wagon and carriage rides from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., starting at the courthouse.
There will also be strolling carolers on Gunter Ave, cookie decorating at the Garden District, storytelling at the Gilbreath House, and of course, Santa!
Pictures with Santa start at 4:00 p.m. at Fant’s. Wagon rides can be found at the Methodist church, the courthouse, and on Scott Street next to Dr. Rutland’s office.
Downtown stores will be open until 8:00 p.m. Complimentary refreshments will be served to the public.
Saturday, Dec. 14 at 5:00 p.m., Guntersville will host the town’s Christmas parade.
