GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)-  A Guntersville woman is likely counting her blessings after she became stuck on a rock ledge Tuesday night.  The woman, who was not identified, climbed up the cliff along Lurleen Wallace Drive.

A witness told WHNT News 19 that the woman, who was wearing a long dress, climbed up the cliff barefoot.   The witness says she reached a certain point and realized she couldn't go any farther and couldn't get back down.

The Guntersville Fire Department brought a ladder truck to the scene and went up and got the woman down.   Guntersville Police officers were seen talking to the woman and her boyfriend after she was rescued.    No charges are expected to be filed.
