JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Jackson County Commission has set the dates and locations for the first two of its string of community meetings.
The meetings are designed to give Jackson County residents a chance to speak directly with commissioners. These meetings are also a chance for the residents to learn more about the one cent sales tax that if passed through the legislature, will ultimately be the residents’ decision.
The meetings will be held across Jackson County every two weeks for the next several months.
The first two meetings are as follows:
— April 6, at North Sand Mountain School
— April 20, at the Rosalie Community Center
Both meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m.
