ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — This month marks the first Downtown Albertville Brewfest.
In about two weeks the Farmer’s Market Parking lot on Sand Mountain Drive will be full of the best brews Tennessee Valley breweries have to offer.
“Huntsville breweries, Cahaba, TrimTab, Good People, Avondale from Birmingham, Main Channel from Guntersville, Back Forty from Gadsden,” event coordinator Justin Quarles says.
But Quarles only named a few of the breweries that will be at the event. “We have over 20 breweries and around 65 different beers.”
Tickets can be bought online and at different locations around Albertville. “Tickets are $30. You can get them at city hall, Sebastien’s On Main, the Chamber of Commerce, and also online at avillebrewfest.com,” Quarles says.
Tickets will also be sold the day of for $10 more and the ticket price includes the samples. “[It includes] entry, you get a souvenir glass, unlimited sampling,” Quarles explains.
There will be live music and Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza at the event.
The event will be held October 17th from 2 – 6 p.m.
“I think it’s going to be good for the community. I think it’s something that, maybe [the guests] try something here, go down the road here to a restaurant and say, ‘Hey, we tried this at the Brewfest, is that something you can get in?’ It will help out local businesses,” Quarles says.
The event is hosted by QSC Promotions, LLC.
