ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Marshall County Coroner’s Office confirmed a Texas man was killed in a crash Friday morning on US Highway 431 in Albertville.

The Marshall County Coroner’s Office said at about 9:07 a.m. Friday, the coroner responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 9400 block of US Highway 431 in Albertville. The male driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead on the scene.

The coroner’s office confirmed Saturday that 52-year-old George Edward Ross of Texas was killed in the accident.

The Albertville Police Department’s (APD) traffic homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the crash and any further information on the crash will be release by APD.

The Albertville Fire Department assisted in the response.
