Two 18-wheeler trucks collide in Jackson County

STEVENSON, Ala. – The Jackson County Emergency Management Agency says two 18-wheeler trucks have collided in Stevenson. The wreck happened just off Highway 72.

One truck rear-ended another truck sending it into MJ Food Mart, which is now compeltely destroyed.

One driver was transported to Erlanger Hospital.

Stevenson Police Chief Kevin Smith said that they are concerend there may be a fuel leak, so the investigation will continue throughout the day. They will also spend the day cleaning up the scene of the accident.

At this time, there is no word on injuries.
