The body of a man who is believed to have drowned in Lake Guntersville Saturday night has been found. The body was discovered Sunday morning near South Sauty.
WHNT News 19 has learned that Marshall County Coroner Marlon Killion is on the scene. The man, identified as 53-year-old Doug Clines of DeKalb County, went underneath the water just before 7pm Saturday night and didn’t resurface.
Crews searched until 10pm Saturday night before calling off the search. It’s not clear if the body was found by a search team or someone else.
