UPDATE: Stolen pit bulls returned to Arab Animal Shelter

ARAB, Ala. -- The two pit bulls that were stolen from the city's shelter late Monday evening have been returned.

No names have been released, but charges are pending against the two adults and two juveniles who stole the dogs.

Officers say recently other pit bulls had been taken from the shelter. Investigators believe these people might be related to those thefts as well.

This case is still under investigation. We will update you with more information when it becomes released.
