2 Arrested in Asbury School Burglary Case

ASBURY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office has now arrested two people in a recent burglary at Asbury School.

The incident happened December 4, during the overnight hours.  Investigators arrested Michael Lynn Brewton, 35, of Albertville this week.  He is charged with third-degree  burglary and theft, and is being held in the Marshall County Jail on $30,000 bond.

Last week, deputies arrested William Andrew Helms, 26, of Albertville.  He is charged with receiving stolen property and has already bonded out of jail.

Deputies say the two men stole $6,500 worth of laptop computers from the school.
