HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — One person has died and two others are in serious condition after a house fire in Huntsville Sunday night.
Huntsville Fire and Rescue confirmed one of the victims died after being transferred to the hospital. No further information has been released on the status of the other two victims.
Early Monday morning, HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster said two males and one female were transported in serious condition to Huntsville Hospital.
Huntsville fire authorities confirm those victims were then transferred to UAB.
The fire was reported around 11 p.m. near the 7000 block of Perry Street with five units responding to the blaze.
The fire has been ruled as “accidental” by Huntsville Fire and Rescue, and noted there were no working smoke detectors inside the home.
