BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A woman woke up to an infant in her bed and had no idea where the child came from or whose it was.
She immediately called police in Battle Creek, Michigan, who came to get the child until Child Protective Services could arrive.
It turns out the woman’s son had dropped off the child before going out for the night and didn’t tell his mother, who was asleep at the time.
What’s more, the baby doesn’t belong to the woman’s son, FOX17 reports.
Battle Creek Police said their officers played with the infant, giving supplying toy cars, teddy bears and other toys to soothe him.
The child’s mother has been found.
Child Protective Services is investigating further, and hasn’t released any more details.
