GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — City Harbor Crush is coming up in Guntersville, and there are plenty of ways you can enjoy it.
Last year downtown Huntsville saw an event that had visitors waiting along the street to attend – Big Spring Crush. It was downtown Huntsville’s first wine festival. Homegrown is the company behind the event, and on June sixth it will be bringing something similar about 40 miles south to Guntersville.
City Harbor Crush will be a first for Guntersville. Set on City Harbor on Lake Guntersville, the event is expected to mimic what visitors saw at the event in Huntsville with more than 100 wines to taste, music, and food.
Marshall County Convention and Visitors Bureau President Katy Norton says there are plenty of ways you can enjoy festival, with various special ticket packages that include an overnight stay — or stays — in Guntersville at the Hampton Inn. “If you do a VIP package you get the special VIP tickets there at the festival where you will get to go in, and taste some specialty wines and food pairings on site the night of,” Norton says.
Another package is for a two night stay. “You get a Friday night reception here at Bakers on Main, where Grassroots, one of the wine distributors that will be featured at the festival, will have exclusive wines that they will feature that night and there will be some food pairings provided by Rock House,” Norton says.
The packages vary, so there are different ways to enjoy the event and Guntersville. There is a deadline to purchase them.
General Admission tickets are also on sale.
A complimentary shuttle service to the event will be available with the packages.
