WASHINGTON D.C. (CNN) – A North Dakota man is in custody in D.C after authorities say he planned to kidnap one of President Obama’s dogs.
Secret Service agents arrested Scott Stockert in his hotel room based on a tip. Agents found an arsenal of weapons and ammunition in his truck.
Authorities say that during an interview, Stockert claimed that he was Jesus and that he was running for President. He also claimed to be the son of Marilyn Monroe and John F. Kennedy, and was in Washington to advocate for $99 dollar a month health care.
Stockert is charged with possessing an unregistered firearm and ammunition.
