MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) - Backfields do not come with a higher profile than the one at Madison Academy.  The thunder and lightning combination of Kerryon Johnson and Malik Miller has led the Mustangs to back to back state titles, with each ball carrier bringing his own style of play to the team.

"I think Kerryon is more elusive than I am, not that I can't be elusive, but I choose not to be sometimes," Miller said.  "I want to go straight through, I want to impose my will on a player. "

The senior Johnson agrees with Malik, telling WHNT Sports Director Ryan Cody,  "He's got some shake to him for a big guy at 220-230 pounds, he's got some shake, but no doubt he's a very punishing runner."

The bruising Miller will soon take his game to the college level, but he still has one more year at Madison Academy, so right now he is just worried about leading the Mustangs to another 3-A state title.
