MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting at FarmHaus apartment, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

MCSO said the shooting happened at the apartment complex located off Balch Road, north of Highway 72 around 11:45 p.m. Sunday.

One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

MCSO says the person or persons responsible are not in custody.
