MADISON, Ala. — Madison Police confirm their non-emergency phone lines are functioning properly now.

Police reported that they were experiencing problems with their phone lines early Sunday morning. Their 256-722-7190 non-emergency line was functioning, however, if the line was tied up and another person attempted to call the same line calls may not have correctly rolled over to other available lines. Police offered an alternative number while technicians worked to resolve the issue.

Police say the problem had no impact on their emergency lines.
