Madison Street Festival returns for 36th year

MADISON, Ala. - The 36th annual Madison Street Festival will be in full swing this Saturday, October 1st in historic downtown Madison.

The festivities begin with the MSF 2016 Parade starting on Skate Park Drive at 9 a.m.

The parade will lead to the following road closures:

  • Mill Road between Hughes Road and Sullivan Street
  • Church Street
  • Front Street
  • Main Street
  • Sullivan Street

There will be hundreds of vendors, artisans, a children's area, and performers, along with original art work, muscle cars, music, floats, marching bands, and tons of great Southern food from gourmet food trucks.

The event is free from 9 a.m. til 4 p.m. and free parking will be available at the Madison City Schools football stadium with shuttles that will begin running at 6 a.m. until the end of the festival at 4 p.m.
