2 adults, 1 juvenile charged for recent armed robberies in Madison

MADISON, Ala.  – Madison Police have arrested three people who they believe to be connected to several armed robberies in the area. Investigators made the connection after a robbery at a Huntsville business.

The Madison robberies involved were:

  1. July 21, 2016, 10:00 a.m., Jersey Mike’s sandwich shop at 8000 Madison Blvd. was robbed at gunpoint.
  2. August 1, 2016 at 3:40 p.m., the International Market at 8006 Old Madison Pike was robbed at gunpoint; a customer was robbed as well

Investigators with the Madison Police Department say Huntsville PD caught three suspected robbers at the Subway on Jordan Lane. The vehicle driven matched the vehicle of interest in the Madison robberies.

Madison detectives established a link between the Madison robberies and the Huntsville offenders. Officers served warrants for the robbers at the Madison County Jail on Thursday.

Those charged:

  • Michael Ferguson, 22, of Madison County
  • Evan Denison, 21, of Madison County
  • 17-year-old Juvenile male of Madison County

Each has bond for the Madison City charges set at $180,000.
