UPDATE: Missing Limestone County girl found

UPDATE: Limestone County Deputies said Limestone Correctional Facility personnel found Emma Sheehan near the facility after 6:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.


HARVEST, Ala. (WHNT) – Limestone County Deputies are asking the for the community’s help to find a missing child. They are looking for 10 year old Emma Sheehan. Deputies said she was last seen wearing one-piece purple pajamas.

Authorities said the girl was last seen around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Silky Drive area of Harvest. Deputies said Sheehan is autistic and doesn’t speak. She does wear a transmitter bracelet but, when deputies deployed the Lifesaver Receiver Unit, they could not locate a tracking signal.

Tracking dogs and personnel from Limestone County State Prison, fire department personnel, family and neighbors are assisting with the search. If you have any information, you are asked to call the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office at (256)232-0111.
