(WHNT) — The Huntsville Madison Chamber of Commerce recently named Village of Promise as its nonprofit of the year.

Village of Promise is a nonprofit whose mission is to help families break out of the cycle of poverty.

Their CEO, Dana Gillis, sat down with News 19’s Steve Johnson on Leadership Perspectives to discuss how the organization is working to help the community.
