HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The presidential election is in the history books, and President-elect Donald Trump is picking his cabinet.

The problem is, the bitterly fought campaign left Americans divided. In this week’s Leadership Perspectives interview, Rabbi Elizabeth Bahar from Huntsville’s Temple B’nai Sholom talks to WHNT News 19 about healing the divisions.

“In many ways, I look at the Presidential election as an opportunity…not because something horrible happened, but because I think people will recognize that we do live in an era that is somewhat divided. And we do need to make the effort to go beyond Facebook posts. To have people over for dinner, to have a conversation, to actually engage in dialog.”
