HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — NASA expects to launch the first flight for their Space Launch System in February 2022. The agency started working on this project four years ago after canceling Constellation, one of its space shuttles.
Former NASA Constellation program manager, Dale Thomas, who is now a University of Alabama – Huntsville professor and Eminent Scholar is obviously excited about the SLS launch and speaks on his involvement with Constellation.
He even said that parts of Constellation will be going with SLS.
