Right now, there’s an accelerated effort to find a vaccine for COVID-19.

UAH is involved in another effort to find chemicals that might stop the virus or be a treatment for it.

Dr. Jerome Baudry, professor in the UAH Department of Biological Sciences, is part of that effort and he says the initial research is being done with some chemicals found in interesting places.
