Lauderdale County Schools move to virtual learning for this week

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. — Lauderdale County Schools students will spend the rest of the week in remote learning, school officials said Tuesday morning.

The move was made because of a continued increase in positive COVID-19 cases and people in quarantine, officials said.

After this week of remote learning, students are off next week for Thanksgiving. They will return to the classroom on Nov. 30, officials said.
