Wednesday afternoon, Congressman Robert Aderholt announced the Kids to Love Foundation will be recognized with a national award in October.

The foundation will receive the Angel in Adoption award, which is given by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute.

“Kids to Love has always been focused on the sanctity of life," says Representative Aderholt who nominated the Kids to Love Foundation for the award. "There are so many children who are looking for permanent, love filled homes.  Kids to Love is making sure that those kids don’t get lost in the system and can live productive lives while waiting for their forever families," he added.

Kids to Love Founder Lee Marshall will accept the award in Washington, DC on October 7.
